QUESTIONS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

What if my transmitter doesn't have the Fail-Safe function?
- In such case the FORCE ignition cutoff is possible to use in TURNED ON and TURNED OFF. You must program the transmitter channel on which the cutoff operates so that doesn't turn into the F/S mode, so with the help of EPA settings

The fibre-optic wire is too short
- Without any problem it is possible to order the wire about other length. The offer is on the website.

I have four cylinder engine with two ignition apparatuses, whether I must buy two FORCE cutoffs?
- No. The Y wire will be enough to power two ignition units. It won't affect the functions of TURNED ON and TURNED OFF devices as well as on F/S operation. Power capacity of the device is prepared for such an application.

Fibre-optic wire is definitely too long, whether can I short it?
- Yes. Wires can be shortened to any length. Therefore, it is important to pay attention so that after cutting the fibre-optic surface was possible the most perpendicular to the wire axis. In order to short the fibre-optic must use a sharp knife on hard surface. In any case shouldn’t use scissors for this purpose!

Can I power the FORCE ignition cutoff from the same battery as the RC receiver?
- Technically nothing stands on the way to do it, however differs completely with the aim of fiber-optic ignition cutoff application as insulations of ignition noise.

I use the FORCE ignition cutoff and FORCE servo controller . I don't know which fibre-optic transmitter is to which device.
- In both cases fibre-optic transmitters don’t differ, it is possible to use them interchangeably.

I have the FORCE ignition cutoff and FORCE servo controller. Can I lead fibre-optic together close to each other?
- Of course! Fibre-optic wires don’t have any impact on themselves and don’t generate disruptions.

My ignition unit is powered by max 6 V. Accumulator of the ignition has 9.6 V. Do I need to apply the voltage regulator?
- Yes. The FORCE ignition cutoff gives the same voltage on the ignition unit as at input. It is possible to connect the regulator in front of the FORCE igniton cutoff as well as behind the FORCE ignition cutoff but before ignition unit.

I have the FORCE servo controller. Battery of the ignition has 7.4 V; the ignition unit tolerates such voltage. I want to connect standard servo for throttle.
- It is necessary to apply the voltage regulator before the servo controller in order to reduce voltage to the acceptable level by servo. If new digital HV servos accept high voltages, in such case isn't necessary to use the regulator.

Whether using the FORCE servo controller can I program Fail-Safe to reduce gas to a minimum by the loss of range?
- Yes. Transmitter is programmed the same way as servo connected directly to the receiver. In case of range loss the rpm will be reduced.

I have two RC receivers in my model. Can I use the FORCE ignition cutoff and keep its functionality?
- Yes. Application of two RC receivers is connected with a need to purchase two sets of the FORCE ignition cutoff. Connection scheme is available on our website in the product section >> download.

Whether it is necessary to apply the mechanical cutoff to turn off before the FORCE ignition cutoff or servo controller?
- Yes. Although at standby mode the electricity taken by ignition cutoff or servo is small. Definitely we recommend to place the mechanical cutoff to shut off voltage right behind the ignition battery. Thanks to that you have a possibility to reset the F/S signalization from the FORCE ignition cutoff.

Whether REV, DR, EXP functions works after application the FORCE servo controller?
- Yes. All functions retain their functionality.
